Kadoma filmfest to screen ‘The War Within’

Iranian short film ‘The War Within’ has made its way to the Kadoma International Film Festival in Japan.

The Iranian Youth Cinema Society reported that ‘The War Within’ will be screened at the 2021 edition of the Japanese event.

Written and directed by Javid Farahani, ‘The War Within’ is about a handicapped man who has lost his legs in an accident and is busy in the foreign currency market as a speculator.

He is holding foreign currencies in the hope of selling them at a higher rate to pay the cost of his surgery.

The film is starring Farhad Najafi and Shima Khosheqbal.

‘The War Within’ was previously screened at the 74th Salerno International Film Festival in Italy.

The upcoming edition of Kadoma International Film Festival runs on October 7-10.
